Cafeteria Policies and Procedures
Burch has a computerized system installed in our cafeteria. The computerized program gives each student a debit account through which money is deposited, allowing students to purchase food items using their assigned PIN number.
Prepayment envelope will be sent home and should be completed and returned on the first day of any week - or whenever your child's account is low. You may deposit any amount into the account, and you may use one envelope for up to three children. You can pay by the week, month, two months, etc.. Please note that only food items may be purchased through this program. Ice cream and Vita Pup payments are not to be included when prepaying. If you do not replenish your account when it is depleted, your child will borrow money from the office. Students are expected to repay the money to the office the following morning. A reminder notice will be sent home.
Please discuss the importance of not sharing PIN numbers with your child. Our teachers will work with them to help them memorize their number.
